Oscar Powell has been one of the most visible and groundbreaking artists of London’s musical underground, releasing a bunch of energetic and noisey EPs and singles before his acclaimed debut album Sport came out on XL Recordings in 2016. Recently he has performed together with Turner prize winning artist Wolfgang Tillmans at Berlin’s Atonal Festival and released the Vinyl-only LP New Beta Vol. 1 and Vol. 2 on Diagonal.

Russell Haswell has been an influential and uncompromising multidisciplinary artist and curator for more than fifteen years. He has collaborated with people like Aphex Twin, Jake and Dinos Chapman, Autechre and others and put out records on Warp, Editions Mego and many more labels. Diagonal released his compelling LP 37 Minute Workout filled with fractured and deconstructed noise and techno, an improvised session paying tribute to industrial funk edits (Double A, 2014). Also, the album As Sure As Night Follows Day and accompanying remix EP by Autechre, DJ Stingray and Powell was release via Diagonal. Haswells next album is about to come out soon on the UK based label as well.

Before and after the shows, DJs from the ranks of zweikommasieben Magazin and from Cave12 will be playing records. The event is supported by Carhartt WIP.
