Unknown Precept is not just shining with it’s selection of artists (in spring 2013 the label was launched with the compilation The Black Ideal, that featured everyone from AnD to Violetshaped), but also in terms of visual appearance. The releases, starting from catalogue number 003, come in sober and reduced sleeves featuring a black and white type solution.

Jules Peter, the man behind the label, hopes to leave enough room for artist- and tracknames with the concept designed by Michel Egger. Further, the music should speak for itself, Peter thinks. Which does work indeed. Just check out S. English’s Conscious Walk, the latest release on Unknown Precept.
